Ingredients
1 lb ground beef
1/2 lb ground pork
1/4 cup breadcrumbs
1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1 egg
1 tsp garlic powder
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp black pepper
1 cup cherry wood chips or chunks (for smoking)
Cherry BBQ Sauce for basting
Directions
Preheat your smoker to 250°F (121°C) and add cherry wood chips or chunks.
Mix all ingredients in a large bowl and form into 1-inch meatballs.
Place the meatballs on a wire rack, smoker tray, or cast iron skillet.
Smoke for 1 hour or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
Baste meatballs in cherry BBQ sauce and let sit for 5 minutes.
