These crispy wings are smoked to perfection before being fried for an irresistible crunch. Toss them in your favorite sauce for a delicious appetizer or main dish. Perfect for game day or any gathering, they are sure to be a hit!

Ingredients

2 lbs chicken wings
2 tbsp smoked paprika
1 tbsp garlic powder
1 tsp salt
1 tsp black pepper
1 cup oil for frying
Vegetable oil

Directions

Preheat the smoker to 300°F (148°C) and use pecan or post oak wood for smokey flavor.
Season chicken wings with smoked paprika, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Or use Sweet Red Dirt, Dust Bowl, or All Y'All rub.
Smoke wings for 1 hour until wings are 155°F internal temperature.
Heat oil in a deep skillet and fry wings until golden brown and crispy, about 3-4 minutes per batch. Pat dry and sprinkle more rub on top.
Serve with your favorite dipping sauce.
