Sweet, smoky, and packed with bold backyard flavor — these Pineapple Sausage Bites are the perfect crowd-pleasing appetizer for game days, cookouts, tailgates, or backyard gatherings.
Ingredients
-
Kielbasa sausage
-
Fresh pineapple chunks
-
Bartlow’s BBQ Heartland Hickory Cherry Sauce
-
Wooden skewers
Directions
- Step 1: Preheat the Grill
Preheat your grill to 375–400°F for direct cooking.
- Step 2: Grill the Kielbasa
Place the kielbasa sausage directly on the grill grates and cook until the internal temperature reaches 170–175°F. Rotate occasionally to create an even char and caramelized exterior.
- Step 3: Prep the Pineapple
While the sausage cooks, cut fresh pineapple into bite-sized cubes.
- Step 4: Slice & Skewer
Remove the kielbasa from the grill and slice into bite-sized pieces. Thread the sausage and pineapple onto skewers, alternating pieces for the perfect sweet and savory bite.
- Step 5: Sauce & Finish
Brush the skewers generously with Bartlow’s BBQ Heartland Hickory Cherry Sauce and place back on the grill for 2–3 minutes to let the sauce caramelize.
- Step 6: Serve
Serve warm and enjoy the smoky, sweet, sticky BBQ flavor fresh off the grill.
