This spicy cheese ball dip is made with a blend of cream cheese and jalapeños, rolled in crunchy bacon and cracker pieces for an irresistible appetizer. Serve it with crackers or fresh veggies for a perfect party snack. It's easy to make and adds a zesty kick to your appetizer spread!
Ingredients
- 2 (8 oz) cream cheese, softened
- 8 slices bacon (chopped)
- 1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup shredded pepper jack cheese
- 1/4 cup diced jalapeños (seeds removed)
- 1/4 cup diced green onions
- 3 tbsp sour cream
- 2 tbsp Dust Bowl (garlic butter)
- 1 cup crushed bacon
- 1 cup crushed crackers
Directions
- Smoke cream cheese at 225°F (107 C°) for 1½ - 2 hours with your favorite rub.
- In a mixing bowl, combine cream cheese, sour cream, cheddar cheese, jalapeños, green onions, half bacon and crackers, and garlic powder or rub until well blended.
- Shape the mixture into a ball. Wrap in saran wrap. Refrigerate for a few hours.
- Roll the cheese ball in crushed crackers and bacon until evenly coated.
- Serve with crackers or veggies.
