These beef ribs are slow-smoked to perfection, resulting in tender, flavorful meat that’s perfect for a barbecue feast. Coated with a savory rub, they are a true delicacy. Serve them with classic sides for a memorable meal!
Ingredients
- 5 lbs beef ribs
- 1/4 cup kosher salt
- 2 tbsp black pepper
- 2 tbsp garlic powder
Directions
- Trim the beef ribs using a boning knife, remove silver skin, and remove hard fat edges. Keep the silver skin on the beef ribs that allows them to stay together during the cook.
- Mix salt, pepper, and garlic, then rub over the brisket. Use All Y'All rub as a premade salt, pepper, and garlic seasoning. Refrigerate overnight or for a few hours minimum.
- Spritz the beef ribs after hour 2 with 50/50 water and beef broth. Wrap in foil at 180°F once bark is formed.
- Smoke at 275°F(135°C) for 5-6 hours until the meat is tender and pulls back from the bone.
- Let it rest in beef tallow in the wrap for 1 hour before serving.
