Crunchy dill pickles are wrapped in crispy, savory bacon, creating a perfect balance of flavors. These bite-sized appetizers are easy to make and are sure to be a hit at any gathering. Serve them with a zesty dipping sauce for an extra kick!
Ingredients
- 12 pickle spears
- 12 slices of bacon
- 1/4 cup cream cheese (optional, for filling)
- Toothpicks
Directions
- Preheat your grill or smoker to 375°F (190°C).
- (Optional) Slice each pickle spear in half lengthwise and fill the center with cream cheese. I love using Famous Dave’s pickles.
- Wrap each pickle spear tightly with a slice of bacon, securing it with a toothpick. Season the bacon with your favorite rub.
- Place the bacon-wrapped pickles on the grill or smoker, turning occasionally, until the bacon is crispy (about 20 minutes).
- Serve warm.
