This delicious creation features two juicy beef patties sandwiched between white onions and melted cheese, without the bun! It’s a low-carb delight that’s packed with flavor and perfect for satisfying cravings. Inspired by In-N-Out.
Ingredients
- 1/2 lb ground beef (80/20 blend)
- 4 slices American cheese
- 2 medium-sized white onions
- Salt and pepper to taste
Directions
- Divide ground beef into 4 thin patties. Season with salt and pepper.
- Cook patties on a hot griddle or skillet for 3-4 minutes per side.
- Cut onion into 2 medium-thick slices to be like buns. Grill until charred and a little translucent.
- Stack patties with a slice of cheese between each layer of onions, creating an onion cheese burger.
- Serve immediately.
